Failing to Provide a Specimen for Analysis

Contact

Essex: 01702 338338 or London: 020 8049 5888

If you fail to provide a sample of blood, breath or urine for analysis when requested, you can be prosecuted for the offence of failing to provide a specimen without reasonable excuse. Similarly to drink and drug driving, a conviction of this kind will result in a mandatory disqualification period of no less than 12 months.

At Paul Robinson Solicitors, we regularly instruct experts in this field to provide evidence to the Court of reasonable excuse and have successfully defended such cases at Court. Representations have also been successfully made to the Crown Prosecution Service in advance of trial for the case to be reviewed and charges discontinued.

How can we help you today?

OUR CLIENTS SAY…

“I received the best treatment and the head of the department Michelle Breindel defended me. The prosecution wanted to send my case to Crown court with a possible custodial sentence, but Michelle put it to them that it was only an unintentional breach. I just received a fine and it was dealt with in the magistrates that day.”
