The Government has announced, that it is their intention, to extend the restriction on commercial forfeiture for rent arrears until the 30 June 2021.

This means that any pending applications for forfeiture; or indeed any intended applications, will now not be able to be progressed until after 30 June.

Whilst this may be welcome relief for tenants, there may be some business landlords, upon whom this will place additional pressure.
