Testimonial from Stephen Goodchild, Agency Nurse
“I would also like to say thank you once more for your company’s overall helpfulness and understanding and Mr Wall’s continued efforts to make things as smooth as possible, not always an easy undertaking given the repeatedly awkward and difficult situations and emotions generated by clients and circumstance! My sincerest thanks again for your assistance in what has been, undoubtedly, a most traumatic and difficult time for me and my gratitude that all is now complete.”
Testimonial from David Eagle, Accountant
“Thank you for all your work you and your staff in the office have done and the support….You have always been very professional, prompt and efficient in dealing with and explaining any request I had. Your patience and tenacity helped keep this out of court at a time when it seemed to be heading in that direction.”
Melanie is an experienced family solicitor and has expert knowledge in all areas of family law. Melanie qualified in 2010 in a leading regional firm and then moved to London to pursue her career in a niche specialist family law practice. She joined the firm in July 2016 as an associate solicitor.
Melanie regularly advises clients on divorce, complex financial settlements, and children matters. She has significant experience in drafting Pre-Nuptial Agreements, Co-habitee Agreements and Parenting Agreements.
Melanie is known for her pragmatic, solution-focused advice. She aims to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients in the most cost-effective way. She provides her clients with the guidance and understanding they need to feel confident and in control at all times. Her advice is given in a clear and concise manner so that her clients are not overwhelmed with legal jargon but instead fully understand the process they are in and the law surrounding it.
Lauren qualified in November 2012 having completed her training contract with an East London firm.
Lauren joined Paul Robinson in May 2013 and advises clients on a wide range of family law issues including divorce, financial resolution, arrangements for children and domestic violence.
Annette has been employed at Paul Robinson Solicitors for nearly 17 years, during which time she has developed her dynamic approach to resolving children issues, whilst remaining child focused.
Annette is a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, with 20 years experience in Children and Family Law, has been a Law Society Children Panel member (children’s representative) for nearly 10 years, and a Member of Resolution (Family Law) and is fluent in Greek.
Annette specialises in all types of children work – Child Arrangements Orders, Prohibited Steps and Specific Issue Orders, Special Guardianship Applications, including emergency applications for recovery of a child, and representing parents, grandparents, and Foster Carers, as well as children themselves. My direct and straightforward approach, offering sensible, firm, and child focused advice, whilst fully supporting my clients, will help clients to find the best way forward for their children. A no nonsense, “let’s get down to the nitty gritty facts of the matter” approach may at times be quite hard in practice, but in the long run can assist in getting to the heart of the problem, and result in finding the most effective solution.
Being a Law Society Children Panel member means I have a unique insight into the way children feel and are effected when their family separates or gets involved in an on-going and serious dispute. I endeavour to do all my own case Court advocacy as often my clients prefer me to represent them. This ensures continuity and provides the necessary support to clients through what can often be a very emotional and stressful times.
I cannot praise you and your team enough for the professional way you handled my situation, you have been so kind and reassuring in what has been a very emotional and distressing time.
