Lauren qualified in November 2012 having completed her training contract with an East London firm.
Lauren joined Paul Robinson in May 2013 and advises clients on a wide range of family law issues including divorce, financial resolution, arrangements for children and domestic violence.
Annette has been employed at Paul Robinson Solicitors for nearly 17 years, during which time she has developed her dynamic approach to resolving children issues, whilst remaining child focused.
Annette is a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, with 20 years experience in Children and Family Law, has been a Law Society Children Panel member (children’s representative) for nearly 10 years, and a Member of Resolution (Family Law) and is fluent in Greek.
Annette specialises in all types of children work – Child Arrangements Orders, Prohibited Steps and Specific Issue Orders, Special Guardianship Applications, including emergency applications for recovery of a child, and representing parents, grandparents, and Foster Carers, as well as children themselves. My direct and straightforward approach, offering sensible, firm, and child focused advice, whilst fully supporting my clients, will help clients to find the best way forward for their children. A no nonsense, “let’s get down to the nitty gritty facts of the matter” approach may at times be quite hard in practice, but in the long run can assist in getting to the heart of the problem, and result in finding the most effective solution.
Being a Law Society Children Panel member means I have a unique insight into the way children feel and are effected when their family separates or gets involved in an on-going and serious dispute. I endeavour to do all my own case Court advocacy as often my clients prefer me to represent them. This ensures continuity and provides the necessary support to clients through what can often be a very emotional and stressful times.
“Annette, Thank you so much in being my legal representative. I couldn’t have done it without you and our whole family are very grateful.” SF
“Hello Annette. I just wanted to let you know that I have just spoken to T. L. about the outcome of his court hearing, and he told me how fantastic you have been all the way through his case, right from the beginning when you gave him free advice at the end of last year. It’s so useful for us to get this feedback as we had initially passed your details on to T as Paul Robinson are on Lawyers’ List. I thought you might like to hear it too!” Grandparents Plus organisation
“Annette, thank you so very much for all of your help in getting my children to live with me. You stepped in quite last minute and I felt at ease with you during such a difficult time. You truly are a star. Many Thanks” Miss LB
“Annette Lowen was like a breath of fresh air during a very difficult and emotional time. I felt reassured, from our first meeting, that I had finally met someone who was going to actually listen and help me take my situation forward. It was clear that Annette has a vast experience within a wide range of child matters and would keep the needs of my child at the forefront at all times. It was such a relief and weight off my shoulders to find her.” Mr D

I would like to thank you for the way in which you dealt with this matter all the way through. Particularly I would express my thanks for your prompt replies to all enquiries that I raised and for keeping me so well informed of the progress of the case.
Natasha Kelt, Litigation
I must say her handling of the transaction was first rate and very professional. Always available and she was never afraid to pick up the phone and share information when it was better to communicate that way rather than just email, a blessing in this day and age. Though both parties were keen for a quick exchange she never allowed that pressure to mean she cut any corners with her enquiries and was always working in my best interests.
I will be more than happy to work with her again in the future and will certainly recommend her to friends and associates who require similar services.
Amber Day, Property
We would like to thank you and your team so much for all the help and advice we received and for acting in a courteous and professional manner at all times. Thank you also Lee for patiently addressing all the issues we raised and for explaining everything to us so clearly, sometimes repeatedly, until you were satisfied we fully understood the more complex issues with our Wills; you personally, were highly recommended to us by one of your grateful clients. Likewise, we too would not hesitate to highly recommend you to anybody planning to make a Will.
