Road Traffic

The law surrounding road traffic matters is increasingly complex. Anybody facing points on their licence would benefit from specialist advice as soon as possible. This is particularly important for those who drive for a living and new drivers.

Our team of solicitors have many years experience of representing drivers in both the Magistrates and Crown Courts.

We can offer both advice and representation on all motoring matters including:

  • Totting up procedures
  • Speeding
  • Careless driving/inconsiderate driving
  • Dangerous driving
  • Death by careless/dangerous driving
  • No insurance
  • No licence
  • Excess alcohol, driving or in charge
  • Drug driving
  • Using a mobile phone whilst driving
  • Fail to give details of a driver
  • Fail to provide a specimen
  • Fail to stop after an accident
  • Fail to report after an accident

We can also offer advice on the new driver provisions and when a new driver is at risk of losing their licence.

We offer an initial interview at a fixed fee of £115 + VAT where concerns can be discussed and advice given.  If a case does proceed to Court and the matter is not eligible for public funding then we offer fixed fees for privately paying clients.  This will give clients the assurance that there are no hidden costs.

Asking for advice as soon as you become aware of a problem could not only save you money but it could also save your driving licence.

Did you know that even if you receive 12 points, or more, on your driving licence you can, in some circumstances, keep your licence?

If you did know that, would you know how to go about applying to keep your licence?

Do you know the defences to failing to notify police as to the identity of a driver at a specific time?

Would you be able to successfully argue “special reasons” not to disqualify you from driving if you were convicted of a drink-drive offence?

Our team of solicitors have many years experience of representing drivers in both the Magistrates and Crown Courts. Asking for advice as soon as you become aware of a problem could not only save you money, but may also save your driving licence.

We are available 24 hours a day. If you have any questions or need help with a matter during office hours (9am-6pm), then please phone our main switchboard on 01702 338338 and speak with one of our motoring specialists.
