As we continue with Update your Will Week 2026, we would like to ensure everyone knows that a Will is arguably one of the most important documents you will ever prepare. There’s no maximum or minimum age to prepare one and it sets out what happens to your assets, your home, your savings and everything you have worked hard for during your lifetime.
If you do not have a Will in place, your estate will pass in accordance with the intestacy rules. These are rules which determine who inherits your estate, regardless of your intentions, wishes or family circumstances.
