For World Mental Health Day, we are proud to be supporting Run Free Official whose aim is to increase the awareness of mental health issues. They express the importance of sports and activities as a coping mechanism and run bi-weekly football sessions. They also have a podcast which is designed to talk about mental health and the stigma behind it, as well as balancing it out with sports news, interviews and funny stories.

Chris Phillips, Co-creator of Run Free, says: “Run Free has grown beyond our expectations since being formed, and teaming up with Paul Robinson Solicitors is another exciting development for us. We both work with a lot of the same clubs and we’re extremely grateful for their support as it will allow us to purchase our first ever kit. It’s another step forward and most important of all, it will enable us to raise awareness about mental health, what we can offer and how important it is not to suffer in silence.”

At the end of October some of the Paul Robinson team will also be undertaking an Mental Health First Aid course, where we will then have 6 people within the team who are available to support colleagues, lend an ear or even have a tea and a chat with those who feel like they need it.
